Our partnership with Pensa of Sefwi Wiawso Health Assistants Training School (Now a Nursing Training College) has been deepening since our maiden outreach with them at Aboboyaa in the year 2015. They invited us to join them in 2016 for the Asanteman outreach. This year on the 27th of May, 2017 we were at Nsuonsua, about forty five minutes drive from Sefwi Wiawso. The joy of spreading the gospel made the rough nature of the road of little concern to us. We reached the town safely and was met with a poor network reception which cut us from active interaction with others through telephone communication during the period of the outreach.
The sight of the town was beautiful to behold: a rural community hemmed in by highlands around it with very green vegetation. Quickly the team set out to arrange the town square for our first programme. We began with a video show on life after death. This was done to attract the townsfolk to the programme. The alter call saw many responses. We were glad to have a good start. Never had we had a large number of people give their lives to Christ on our first night in our outreaches with Pensa SWHATS.
Day two was Sunday so we joined the local church and met later in the day for house to house evangelism. We came back with encouraging reports. We were set for the evening programme. The Presiding Local of the Nsuonsua Assembly of The Church of Pentecost, Elder Stephen Owusu delivered a message which saw 23 people responding to our call for salvation.
Day three was packed. We met with the Pensa Students and had teaching meeting with them. We taught them the undiluted word of God, opened their understanding to scriptures and clarified their misconceptions about the faith. Series of questions were asked by the participants which we answered with accurate knowledge from God’s word. The faith built in them stirred a hunger for more. After the session, we visited their basic school to have a health talk with the pupils. We continued with the house to house evangelism later in the day and held the evening meetings in the town square as usual. After a powerful message by our Sister Fatima Abdullai, we had 11 more souls coming to Christ.

On day four, we continued with our teaching service in the morning. God met the students with his word. Their faith was stirred. The house to house evangelism and follow up continued later in the day. The rain threatened the evening service. We activated our faith and contained it. After raining for about an hour, it gave way and the service started unhindered. A drama was done to share our message after which we had an interactive session where critical questions relevant to our new converts were answered by Pastor Eric Owusu and Opoku Agyemang Emmanuel (The Network Representatives). We gave the chance for all present to ask questions concerning our Christian faith and we answered them to relieve their fears and doubts. We saw eighteen people turn to the Lord. We prayed for the town and charged the believers in the community to take responsibility for the new converts.
W came back rejoicing. God bless all who supported this assignment in every way possible.
