PUT ON YOUR AMOUR IN FULL (EPHESIANS 6:10-18)
From all indications, COVID19 is real and many lives have been lost out of it. Let us look at this scenario, how are we able to protect ourselves from this deadly airborne disease if its really an airborne?
How often do we put on our mask or use the sanitizer if we have to?
Do we sleep with mask?
Do we have the capacity to determine the kind of air that should enter our various rooms and even come around us?
It’s very clear that protection comes from God alone, and it’s not because we have been extremely careful than those who have succumbed to the virus. Protection is the Father’s promise to us. So as Believers in God’s Kingdom, let’s hold on fast to what our Ruler is saying and walk by them by keeping intact the shield of faith in place.
Exodus 13: 21-22”And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead them along the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, that they might travel by day and by night.
22The pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night did not depart from before the people”.
So our Father is still with us and has not left us alone. There were an era He was able to distinguished the Israelites from the Egyptians. He never forsook nor rebuked his people. He won’t hand us over to covid 19 like that.
For he said in Exodus 12:23 “For the Lord will pass through to strike the Egyptians, and when he sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the Lord will pass over the door and will not allow the destroyer to enter your houses to strike you”.
At this time, there is no blood of an animal to put at our door post but there is the blood of Jesus and an amour we must put on fully . Stop concentrating on the storm around and focus on your amour in full. We leave by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7), not by what we see, feel and touch. Let’s start living from the spiritual realm by fixing our eyes on the things that are unseen which is permanent not on temporal things that are seen.(2 Corinthians 4:18)
As said in (1Peter 5:5-9), first, be submissive to authorities and with your spiritual amour on in full give covid 19 no chance through resistance. Again, resist the feeling of “FEAR “as the enemy’s device 24/7.
After all, if God be for us who can be against us. Is it covid?, certainly not!.
Again, “He that watches over Israel never sleeps nor slumber “. If God is doing the watching for us what is our fear again.
God told David that a thousand will fall on your side and ten thousand will fall on your right, you will see but it will not come near you and your household.
Let our anchor hold firmly as it is in the Methodist hymnal especially in this era of this Pandemic even though things look scary.
Make declarations each day that your body is the temple of God not covid-19 or any other illness. And where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty as in (2 Corinthians3:17)
So “FEAR NOT”, for we serve a God who cannot lie (Romans 3:5). He will not violate his covenant nor alter what his lips have ultered (Psalm 89: 33)
With your amour on in full, put your trust in the Lord and He will not depart from you but rather will preserve your going out and coming in. His spirit will perfect everything that concerns you. So walk boldly in the kingdom you find yourself and rejoice. Again I say rejoice.
