It’s shocking to see most believers refer to the Governor of the church, the Holy Spirit “it”. It’s so pathetic. They would say things like “When it comes upon you”. Do they really know who they are referring to? They are referring to the one who made the world. He is the first person of the Godhead to be introduced in the Bible. Genesis 1:2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, AND THE SPIRIT OF GOD was hovering over the waters. The problem is that people think he is wind, fire or dove. These elements are used to describe the nature of his work. He is God. John 16:13 However, when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth.
John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever. Notice that the Holy Spirit is “HE” not “it”. Let’s grow up and quit operating in gross ignorance.
