All was set for the Abonu Camp meeting which began on 2nd and ended on the 6th of August. Expectations were high for participants and by the inspiration in our spirits, the meeting was named FRESH ENCOUNTERS. Indeed there were fresh encounters with the word in teachings, and fresh revelations of God in our Praise and worship times and Prayer.
Day 1 was a night of PRAYER AND WORSHIP. On day two, The Vice President of the Network, Opoku Agyemang Emmanuel taught on Two kinds of knowledge: Sense knowledge versus Revelational Knowledge. He explained that Revelational knowledge, borne out of God’s word, is the highest kind of knowledge and it is available to believers only. According to him walking with this kind of knowledge is the doorway to manifesting the supernatural.
On day 3, he talked on UNDERSTANDING THE WILES OF THE ENEMY AND DISCERNING THE REALMS OF SATAN’S ATTACKS. He explained that the mental realm is satan’s biggest platform of attack and the biggest weapon of the Christian in this realm of attack is the word of God. He continued further that a number of times we think that prayer is the last bullet but in this mental realm of attack, God’s word is the ultimate tool. After dealing with the devil in prayer, he switches over to this realm with his maneuvers. So he urged participants of the program to watch out for darts of the devil against their mind and resist those negative thoughts with God’s word.
Pastor Eric taught on day four with a powerful revelation of the Love of God for the believer. He touched on the need to be conscious of this and went further to speak on the inheritance that the love of Christ has made available to the believer. In the evening, he taught on a message he had titled THE SERVANT GOD HONOURS. He explained the secretes of rising in the kingdom of God through servitude, humility and dedication.
Participants were taken to LAKE BOSOMTWE to experience the place. They shared with us the how this meeting has impacted them.
Our prayer sessions came with prophetic ministrations through Pastor Eric, Akwasi Yeboah and Michael Owusu Boansi. Our meeting Climaxed with a prophetic message from the Lord during our moment of worship.
